Played in 67 of the 82 games during his rookie season, missing eight games while on the injured list due to patella tendinitis of his right knee and recorded seven DNP-CDs… averaged 4.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 13.0 minutes per game… finished 17th in the league among all rookies in rebounding… registered six games of double-figure scoring on the season, including a season-high 17 vs. Milwaukee on March 26, 2005 in one of his four starts on the season… scored 12 points with a season-high 12 rebounds in the season finale at Golden State on April 20, 2005, for his first career double-double…Also pulled down a season-high 12 rebounds vs. LAC on February 28… registered a season-high three assists five times, a season-high two steals twice and a season-high two blocks three times… played a season-high 29 minutes twice, including April 9, 2005 at Dallas and April 17, 2005 at Portland… made his first career start at LAL on February 15, 2005…

As a senior at Hopkins High School, was named a 2003 McDonald’s All-American and was named Second Team All-USA by USA Today… led Hopkins to a 25-2 record and it’s first 4A state championship in 49 years in 2002… named to the Super 25 Basketball Team by USA Today, was named Mr. Basketball in the state of Minnesota and state player of the year by the Minneapolis Star Tribune and College Basketball News… one of 10 finalists for the 2003 Naismith Prep Player of the Year Award… averaged a double-double in his final three prep seasons, including 25.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists as a senior… rated as the nation’s top power forward by The Sporting News.
