PLAYER NOTES: --G T.J. Ford, the team's starter until he suffered a serious neck and back injury in mid-December, seems quite content coming off the bench for the rest of the season. The emergence of Jose Calderon as a stalwart in the starting lineup cemented the decision.
"Where respect is due, it's due," said Ford. "He's played well. He earned it. So he can keep (it)."
--F Chris Bosh had 28 points on Wednesday night against Minnesota. He now has 6,521 on his career and is second on Toronto's all-time scoring list. Vince Carter leads with 9,420.
--F Jorge Garbajosa, out since late November after having surgery on his ankle and leg, is now out of a cast and has begun rehabilitation. It's doubtful, but there is a possibility he could be able to return before the playoffs begin.
