PLAYER NOTES:

--G Anthony Parker was back in his usual role as a starter against Denver on Wednesday night after coming off the bench. It's not as if he set the world on fire as a backup. In nine games, he averaged six points and shot just 35 percent from the field and 21 percent from three-point range.

--G Jason Kapono, who did not play against Denver due to a right quad contusion, was moved back to a reserve role after 11 games as a starter. In those 11, he averaged 10.1 points per game, shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from three-point range.

--C Andrea Bargnani was re-inserted into the starting lineup for the first time since Dec. 9 and responded with 26 points and a season-high five blocked shots.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--C Jermaine O'Neal (right knee contusion) missed Wednesday's game and is listed as day-to-day.

--G Jason Kapono (right quad contusion) missed Wednesday's game vs. Denver.
