Toronto Raptors Roster Report 2008-03-29
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard T.J. Ford, Shooting guard Anthony Parker, Small forward Jamario Moon, Power forward Chris Bosh, Center Rasho Nesterovic. Bench -- Center Andrea Bargnani, Forward/Guard Carlos Delfino, Guard Jose Calderon, Forward Jason Kapono.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Darrick Martin's Raptors' playing career is over; his days with the franchise aren't. Coach Sam Mitchell reiterated Friday that the veteran point guard will be kept on in some capacity once he clears NBA waivers on Monday.

"D's role won't change as far as his voice in the locker room," Mitchell said. "(Darrick) understood this year that if we could stay relatively injury-free that sometime we may need that roster spot. We had that conversation before we even signed him -- that this day might come."

--F Chris Bosh at one time thought he'd like to become a more consistent threat from beyond the three-point arc and spent a summer working on extending his shooting range. It didn't really work out for him but he did hit a three-pointer on Friday, his fifth in only 11 attempts this season.

--F Carlos Delfino took a challenge from coach Sam Mitchell to be more active on the boards to heart. Delfino had 10 rebounds in 26 minutes against New York on Friday. It was the first time since Dec. 22 he'd had a double-figure rebounding game.
