--After only three weeks of the regular season, Toronto has played almost one-fifth (8 of 41) of its road schedule. Included in the tough start were Western road trips of three games in four nights and four games in six nights. --Toronto coach Jay Triano can't get over how fast time flies. "It's only been a year," he asked with some incredulity to his voice when reminded he was back where his NBA coaching career began.
Triano's first game as the team's interim head coach was at Utah on Dec. 14, 2008, when the Raptors were blown out 114-87. Sam Mitchell had been fired two days earlier in Denver, and Triano had one practice in his new job before facing Utah.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We have to really emphasize a good start. Try to get as tired as you can in the first four or five minutes instead of waiting to see what happens and get into the game. Just go out there and bust your (butt)." -- F Chris Bosh on overcoming slow starts.
