Raptors F Chris Bosh sidelined with right knee pain
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A swollen and painful right knee could keep Toronto Raptors All-Star forward Chris Bosh sidelined for about a week.

Bosh missed Sunday's game against Charlotte, two days after he left in the fourth quarter when the knee flared up. Bosh, Toronto's top scorer and rebounder, initially was injured Monday against the Pacers.

An MRI on Saturday revealed no structural damage.

"I'm just waiting until I don't have any more pain," Bosh said Sunday. "That's my biggest concern right now."

Coach Sam Mitchell hinted Bosh would also miss the final two games of the road trip on Tuesday in Orlando and Wednesday against Miami. Rasho Nesterovic started in Bosh's place against the Bobcats.

Bosh acknowledged he was in pain before Sunday's game and said the training staff said he needs rest.

"I haven't tried to run. Just doing certain movements right now (hurt)," Bosh said. "It is what it is and I just have to be patient."

Bosh is averaging 22.6 points and 8.9 rebounds. He played in his third All-Star game last month.
