NOTES
Being home for a bit after such a gruelling travel schedule affords the Raptors the opportunity to get in some more practice.
And coach Jay Triano plans to take advantage.
"We'll practise (today), even though it's New Year's Day," he said yesterday morning. "It'll be our fifth practice since the (Dec. 3 coaching) change. We need to come and get some work done.
"It'll be nice to get lots of repetitions as far as shooting the Basketball and go through some of the changes that we've made physically rather than just on videotape." Toronto has home games against Houston tomorrow and Orlando on Sunday afternoon before heading back on the road for games in Milwaukee and Washington.
Last night's game marked the first time Toronto has played at home on New Year's Eve and only the third time in franchise history they've played anywhere on Dec. 31.
Last year, the Raptors won in New Orleans and the only other New Year's Eve game was a 118-91 loss to Washington on Dec. 31, 1997.
